Join us at National on 10th, 341 10 Ave SW (not the one on 17th Avenue!) on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) to hear first-hand what your government is doing to protect you from future flooding.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Hon. MLA Brian Mason, Minister of Transportation, Government of Alberta
- Rick Blackwood, Alberta Environment and Parks
Representatives from the City of Calgary will also be in attendance.
Updates will be provided on the following:
- Springbank Offstream Reservoir (SR1) progress and next steps
- Floodway mapping and Flood Development Regulations (FDR)
- Status of upstream mitigation for Bow River
- Status of local flood mitigation projects
