Deadline for your feedback is June 15 – don’t miss it!
The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency’s (CEAA) public open houses wrapped up last week, however, the 45 day period for public input will remain open until the (extended) June 15 deadline.
Your silence is as good as a vote against Springbank.
You better believe opponents of the Springbank project will be relentless in their feedback to the CEAA. We need supportive voices to be on-record and that means YOU!
Pledge your support for the Project by writing to the CEAA via post or email:

“The safety and wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of people living and working in the City of Calgary is at risk each and every year that passes without flood mitigation. The public safety interests of the City of Calgary and its 1.2 million residents must be weighed against the interests of 19 landowners.” – CRCAG
If you were unable to attend one of the open houses last week, you can view all the info boards displayed at the event here.
Media coverage of the open houses:
- CTV News – Province continues to collect feedback ahead of technical review of Springbank Reservoir project
- Calgary Herald – ‘They’re destroying a community’: Springbank dam opponents bring concerns to information session
- StarMetro Calgary – Springbank residents question provincial plans for proposed dam
- Calgary Herald – Springbank dam supporters express flood concerns at information session
CRCAG’s first gained its strength as a grassroots movement with many community voices. It is only with the continued effort of ALL of our voices that we can move this project forward.
Stay tuned for information on our AGM, which will be announced in the coming days.
Thank you in advance for your CEAA letters. You can reach us at anytime at info@crcactiongroup.com.
