Tomorrow, Alberta Transportation is hosting the second of two community information sessions on the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir (SR1).
The events will include a presentation on SR1 and a Q&A portion where attendees can ask questions to a panel of project team members.
Panelists will include:
- Honourable Ric McIver, Minister of Transportation
- Matthew Hebert, Executive Director, Transportation Policy, Alberta Transportation
- Wayne Speller, Principal, Senior Regulatory & Impact Assessment Specialist, Golder Associates Ltd.
- Matt Wood, Chief Natural Systems Design Engineer, Stantec
- Dave Brescia, Principal, Environmental Management, Stantec

Joining the information session by invitation link
The link to join the Zoom live-streamed Community Information Session can be found here.
To join the information session, click the link above and register for the live stream information session. Once you register you will be redirected to the live stream information session.
Please do not try to register before the date and time of the information session.
Waiting for the host to start the webinar
If the session has not started broadcasting you will receive the following message: “Please wait for the host to start the webinar”.
Once the session begins broadcasting you will be able to see the live stream information session.
Question and Answer
Opening the Q&A window allows you to ask questions to the host and panelists. The panelists will be answering the questions live. To ask a question:
- Type your question into the Q&A box. Click Send.
- The panelists will be answering your questions live (out loud).
- If your question is not answered during the live stream event we encourage you to send it afterwards to: springbank@communica.ca
Leave the Session
Click “Leave Meeting” to leave the information session at any time. If you leave, you can rejoin if the information session is still in progress.
