Help us Protect Calgary from future floods
It’s been a long 10 months. Through the highs and lows, we have survived with the help of friends and community. We’ve learned that there is strength in numbers. As a group we’ve had some real success and are happy to see plans for flood mitigation progressing. But we want to make sure planning turns into action. So, we at the Calgary River Communities Action Group are calling on you to help us increase our numbers and strengthen our voice.
We need to work together and call on politicians to fund, expedite and build flood mitigation: to protect Calgary, our families, our homes and our communities from future flooding.
Please help us. Share our new website ProtectCalgary.com with your friends and family and ask them to Join our Action group. There’s a big bold button on the top right hand side of the website that says “JOIN NOW” just click on that and follow the directions.
Thanks for your help!

Friends, as you know, my family was personally hit by the floods last year. It’s been a long and hard 10 months and we dread what could happen to Calgary if there was ever another such flood. There’s a group of hardworking volunteers who are calling on politicians to do the right thing and make sure Calgary is protected from future flooding. Check out their new website ProtectCalgary.com. Please consider joining the group to add your voice to the call for protection.
