Public invited to attend Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir Project information sessions

The Government of Alberta has scheduled four Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir information sessions, to take place over the coming weeks. These open house style sessions will be the final opportunity for Alberta Transportation to collect feedback from community members in order to complete its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) submission.

Please attend! Your attendance and feedback at these sessions provides a critical input into the regulatory process.

Alberta Transportation continues to work to complete the EIA to support a regulatory application to both provincial (Alberta Environment and Parks & Natural Resources Conservation Board) and federal (Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency) environmental regulators. The Project is likely to be subject to a public hearing process which would occur in mid to late 2018. Assuming it proceeds as planned, the Project completion is scheduled for Spring 2021.

CRCAG is committed to active engagement in the regulatory process to support a balanced and expedited review process, and we will continue to work to ensure you remain informed and engaged in the process!

Feel free to let us know if you plan to attend any of the above information sessions. You can RSVP to our Facebook events using the links above or email us at info@crcactiongroup.com.
